FAQ

Sizing & Fit

How do your sizes run?
True to size on tees and hats. Hoodies and the Northwoods Jacket run roomy on purpose — built to layer over a flannel or a tee without feeling stuffed. If you’re between sizes and want a relaxed fit, take your normal size. If you want it fitted, size down one.

Will my hoodie shrink?
Our heavyweight cotton fleece is pre-shrunk, but expect about 2-3% additional shrinkage on first wash if you tumble dry. Wash cold, hang to dry, and you’ll keep the cut you bought.

Materials & Care

What’s the hoodie made of?
12oz USA-milled 100% cotton fleece, embroidered chest mark. Sewn in the United States. No polyester. No fleece-blend shortcuts.

And the Camp Tee?
It’s a Comfort Colors 1717 — a 6.1oz heavyweight 100% ringspun cotton blank that’s garment-dyed at the Comfort Colors (Gildan) factory for a soft, broken-in hand from day one. The blank is imported; our USA-based apparel partner does the embroidery.

How do I care for the Northwoods Jacket?
14oz waxed cotton canvas. Spot clean with cold water and a stiff brush. Re-wax once a season with any standard wax canvas refresher. Don’t dry clean and don’t run it through a regular wash — water-based detergents strip the wax.

Where it’s made

The Quiet Hours Hoodie and the Bigfoot Trucker are sewn in the United States. The Camp Tee uses an imported blank that’s embroidered stateside. The Northwoods Jacket is in final sourcing review — we’ll publish full origin details before its first production run. We label every product with its actual origin and don’t make blanket "Made in USA" claims we can’t stand behind.

Who makes the stuff

I don’t sew the garments myself. Squatch & Co. is a small label I run out of northern Wisconsin. I design the line and run the brand; cutting, sewing, embroidery, and shipping are handled by a USA-based apparel partner. They’re professionals, they’re consistent, and they make better garments than I ever could.

Shipping

How fast do you ship?
Orders placed before noon Central typically ship the same day from our fulfillment partner. Most orders go out within 1-2 business days.

How much is shipping?
Shipping is calculated by weight at checkout via USPS Ground Advantage. Most U.S. orders ship $5.50–$12.50: 0–8 oz $5.50, 8–16 oz $7.50, 16–32 oz $9.50, 32+ oz $12.50.

Do you ship internationally?
Canada, yes — shipping is calculated by weight at checkout ($18–$32). Outside North America, not yet — drop us a note and we’ll let you know when we open it up.

Returns

What’s your return policy?
30 days. If it doesn’t fit or doesn’t feel right, send it back unworn for a full refund. We pay return shipping in the U.S.

What if something arrives wrong?
If a Squatch & Co. piece arrives damaged or fails inside the first 90 days because of how it was made, email us a photo and we’ll make it right.

The Brand

Why "Squatch"?
Because I like the woods, I like a sense of humor, and I don’t take myself too seriously. The mark stands for what I admire about the Squatch — stays in the background, loves the forest, generally misunderstood, lives off-grid by choice.

Where are you based?
Northern Wisconsin. The brand is designed and run from here; manufacturing and fulfillment happen at our USA apparel partner.
